The build
Where the money went
Raw T700 carbon, unpainted, so the texture that grips the ball is the face itself rather than a coating that wears off. A 14 mm polypropylene honeycomb core sits behind it — thin enough to stay quick at the kitchen line, thick enough to keep a mishit from stinging.
The handle is 4.8 inches of cushioned faux leather at a 4.33 inch circumference, and a full perimeter edge guard takes the scrapes that end most paddles early.
